Nemasys^®H

Nemasys^® H is based on the beneficial nematode Heterohabditis bacteriophora and provides a rapid curative control of Black Vine Weevil. Nemasys^® H will control Black Vine Weevil larvae in soil temperatures above 12°C.

Nemasys^® H can be used to give rapid control when environmental and application conditions are perfect. If there is any concern over these application conditions we recommend the use of Nemasys^® L.

Nemasys^® H contains nematodes in their vigorously infective juvenile stage. These aggressive organisms actively seek out Black Vine Weevil larvae and enter them through their natural openings. Once inside the larvae they release symbiotic bacteria, quickly killing the insect pest. The nematodes then reproduce inside the insect and release a new generation of infective juveniles which disperse in search of further larvae.

Conditions Nemasys^®H can be used in all crop situations where Black Vine Weevil is a pest problem. Timings Apply anytime when soil temperatures are above 12°C and below 30°C.
